Kevin Dubrow, the lead singer of one of hair metal’s pioneering groups Quiet Riot, was found dead in Vegas. Even though the group could be technically considered a one hit wonder with 1983’s “Cum on Feel the Noize”, they are often credited along with Van Halen with making hair metal cool after their Metal Health album hit #1 on Billboard. That success opened the door for the scores of Aqua Net doused bands that followed throughout the 80’s.
