Fill In The Blanks

If anyone ever had a question as to what Greenpeace is all about, a public relations faux pas should give you a good idea.
Before President Bush had arrived in Pennsylvania on Wednesday to promote his nuclear policies, Greenpeace was mobilizing their troops.
This volatile and dangerous source of energy” is no answer to the country’s energy needs, shouted a Greenpeace fact sheet decrying the “threat” posed by the Limerick reactors Bush visited.
But a few bullet points later the Greenpeace authors missed a little fill in the blank part of their release
“In the twenty years since the Chernobyl tragedy, the world’s worst nuclear accident, there have been nearly [FILL IN ALARMIST AND ARMAGEDDONIST FACTOID HERE].”
The above quote is listed exactly as it appeared in the Greenpeace memo. Of course a Greenpeace spokesman said that a colleague was making a joke by inserting the language and the final version didn’t mention Armageddon. It just warned of plane crashes and reactor meltdowns, i.e. alarmist and armageddonist factoids.
